For God So Loved.....

You've heard horror stories , about if you don't get saved you will go to hell."You are going to burn in hell", well meaning family or friends might say. While what they say is true, and scary, but, I ,want you to know, God does not send anyone to hell. Satan,a once angel, who fell from grace, because he felt he was a god and should be honored. It is he who caused the first sin to enter the world and continues to cause mans heart to be cold and with no love or remorse for wrong done. He is the one who leads people down the road to hell.

John 3:16 For God , so loved the world, he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall be saved.

John 3:17 For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Before Jesus died on the cross, God had allowed people to use animal sacrifices for the redemption of sin, so they could be saved. He sent His son, Jesus, then to be born and live on this earth, with temptations and hardships as all other men, yet He sinned not. But Jesus took on our sin, on the cross and died so we could be saved. He was our sacrifice lamb. He bore our pain, our stripes went upon His back. This is love! And for God to send His only son to suffer for us this way. That is the ultimate love!

I've heard people say "God loves us ,so he won't send non of us to hell". This is a very true statement, but yet nieve. No God wants us all to live with Him in heaven. He will not send anyone to hell, but, he also made us a free spirit to choose. We do have to choose. There are two gods. God in heaven who loves us and the god of this world satan, who wants us to fall with him. He knows he faces eternity in hell and wants to take as many as possible with him.

In order to be saved, God says we must,

1st- believe on the lord Jesus Christ
2nd-have a retentive heart, truly be sorry for the sin in your life and ask Him to forgive you.
3rd-accept His free gift of salvation, acknowledging the fact that Jesus died on the cross to give you this gift, He rose the third day and sits at the right hand of the father.
4th-tell him to come into your heart and save you, that you accept his free gift of salvation
You then will feel a heavy burden has been lifted from your shoulders! Thank Him for it!

To go with satan, you do not need to do anything, you're already going with him if you do not decide to accept God's gift. This is for you and only you to decide. God wants us all to choose Him, and live but He won't make you.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Why are we all sinners already? It began in Geneses, when Eve was tempted and fell into sin, and then lead Adam to do the same. The curse for all generations after was that we would all be born into sin. God made man perfect, but satan tempted man and caused him to fall. That is why we have to be "born again" or "saved". These are both the same thing, just two ways of saying it.

This is why it was necessary for God to send Jesus as our redemption. He loved us too much to see us go to hell. He Wept for man. He wanted to provide a way for us to come to Him, on our own, not forcing Himself on us, but out of love for Him too.

Knowing what He gave for us, and how He helps us all the time in life. Gives us food to eat, health to work, a shelter over our heads, and we'll never know how many times He sent angels to protect us from harm. The list of His goodness goes on and on. How can we, Not love Him?

So my friend, you see, God is all about loving us. Not condemning us. He does not seek to punish and send us to hell. He provided us a way to escape hell. God is Love, not hate. He is Our redeemer, our provider, our healer, the Father who is always there (even when your earthly father isn't) . He is love, Joy, peace, comfort in times of need, shelter in life's troubled storms. Oh yes, He is everything to me! He is also my best friend. I can go to Him any time and He is always glad I came and listens every time. He also cheers me when I am down. Makes me know, I am important to Him! Below is a poem I wrote to God in Praise, to tell Him all He means to me in my life! Hope you enjoy it.

The Love of my Life

My life has been richer, fuller, sweeter, because I met Him;
When I am feeling down, he brushes my cheek, and wipes away the tears;
When I am happy, He smiles, bright enough to light the world;
When things seem to be going all wrong, he makes me see the bright side;
When I feel lost and afraid, He always comes to show me the way;
When friends misunderstand me, I can count on Him to understand;
When everyone else turns their backs, He never leaves;
I get joy in my heart when He speaks to me;
He gives me gifts every day of my life;
When His arms embrace me, I feel so safe and warm;
He makes me feel, special;
When I say I am getting old, or I need to lose weight, He says I am beautiful;
He loves me despite my failures and faults;
He is always protecting me and keeping me safe;

He never loses His temper and says things he'd later regret;
When He doesn't agree with me, He gently shows me why;
I respect His opinion and trust Him with all my heart;
He has never lied to me, or lead me in the wrong way;
I can tell Him anything at all, He never repeats what I said to anyone;
He understands the abuse I went through, because He's been there too;
He never gets tired of me crying on His shoulder;
He is my best friend, My Love, my Life;
His name, is Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
