The
10 Commandments
|

|
I. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodis
2:3)
II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself
to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, (Exodus 20:4-5a)
III. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy
God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (Exodus 20:7)
IV. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus
20:8)
V. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days
may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (20:12)
VI. (Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)
VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:14)
VIII. Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15)
IX. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy
neighbour. (Exodus 20:16)
X. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou
shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any
thing that is
thy neighbour's. (Exodus 20:17)

We will proudly display the 10 commandments here.
To many people are ashamed to see the commandments displayed, but we will not bow to the devil.
They are ashamed to see the commandments because
they break them every day. How many times do you hear someone take the Lord's name in vain? How many people have
money as their god? How many places of business are open seven days a week because their god is money? How many
children honor their father and mother and do what they are told? How many babies are killed each day? How many
acts of adultery are committed each day? How many people steal something every day? How many people lie to their
neighbor (and your neighbor refers to any one that come in contact with every day)? How many people lust after
another person wife or husband each day? How many people wish they had what some one else had?
It all started a long time ago when people started
taking God out of their homes. Then they took God out of school. Then they took God out of the government.
It is time to put God back into our homes, schools,
and government.
