Born a long, long time ago; A carpenter's boy;
Mary's little pride and joy;
The shepherd boys came on that Holy night;
To see God's light;
Oh and He shinned shinned so bright;
And while heavenly host were all praising God;
Mary bowed her head (Oh and with a mother's love);
This is what she said;

That's my Jesus- He's the One that I love;
Oh-h-h He came to live with us because He loves us;
That's my Jesus

Tossed about in a raging, stormy sea;
They were filled with froght- it was an awful night;
Then along came Jesus walking on the waves;
"It's a ghost" they began to say;
Oh and they began to pray;
Oh Peter stood up in the boat;
Oh and he looked real close and he said;
"Boys that ain't no ghost";
That's my Jesus and He's the one that I love;
He came to save us, just because He loves us;
That's my Jesus

Hanging there on an old rugged cross;
A dying man- God's Holy Lamb;
And the crowds gathered round just to see the One;
Who claimec to be God's Son;
They said "Was He really the One?";
As the sky grew still and the sun refused to shine;
"It is finished" He cried;
Hung His head and then He died;
Oh then the Father looked down and with a voice;
That shook the ground He said;

"That my Jesus" My only Son!
He came and He died for you- because He loves you;
That's my Jesus--That's my Jesus
He's the One that I L-O-V-E
He came and He died for me;
Just because He loved me;
That's my Jesus; That's my Jesus;
That's my Jesus
