My Final Word to You
One statement sums up all that God desires to do in your life so that your emotions might be sound, positive,
and beneficial: God desires to heal your emotions and make you whole.
One word sums up the means that God uses to heal you: love.
When your self-esteem is based on the work of a loving heavenly Father, a redeeming Savior, Christ Jesus, and
a divine Counselor and Comforter, the Holy Spirit; when you stand forgiven before the Father; when you have made
a decision to be free of the ache of anxiety, the grip of fear, the grindstone of guilt, the acid of anger, and
the reproach of rejection—you have chosen to receive God's love.
God's love is extended to you in many forms, including forgiveness. His presence in you is always a loving presence.
His work through you is always a work of love toward others.
Nothing is more attractive than love. Nothing is more beneficial to your emotional well-being. Nothing is more
potent in making you emotionally whole. Nothing gives a greater lift to life.
But God's love isn't automatically experienced by everyone. It is freely made available to all people, but individually,
you must choose to receive His love. It is the fountain from which emotional wholeness flows!
