Noah's Arch
This is our story page, hope you like it!
Noah was a man who loved God. In his days, most men lived
for themselves, and did not love God as Noah did. This made
God sad. God had created man, and man did not even love
him. The world got so bad, and so many bad people, God
decided he should distroy the creation and start over.
Kinda like when we draw a picture and we think its not good
so we ball it up and draw another one.
God saw Noah was good, so he told Noah, to build an arch.
God told Noah it's gonna rain, and you need to prepare.
Noah did not know what rain was, but he did as God told him
to do, because he loved God. When the arch was finished,
God told Noah to get his family inside, then gather two of every
creature on earth(Animal) one male and one female, and
get them in the arch too. So Noah did what God said to do.
After Noah loaded the arch, he closed the doors and shut
everyone up inside because God told him to.
Soon, rain from the sky began to fall. It rained for 40 days and 40
nights. On the 40th day, Noah sent out a Raven, to fly around
to see if there was dry ground. They could not leave the arch
untill it was dry out. He also sent forth a dove, but when the
dove returned he knew the dove found no
dry ground, so they stayed in the arch 70 more days. Noah sent
the dove out again, when the dove came back with a olive
leaf, Noah Knew they still could not leave the arch. They stayed
70 more days. Noah sent out the dove again, this time, the
dove did not come back. Noah knew it was safe to leave the
arch.
When Noah opened the arch, he found the earth distroyed.
But God came to Noah, and a rainbow appeared in the sky.
God told Noah, this rainbow, is a symbol of this day, and a
promise from me, I will never distroy the earth with water again.
That is where we got the rainbow. Isn't a rainbow pretty? It
is a very special thing too! Remember Noah when you see a
rainbow. You will find, the Bible has many great stories!
