| Date: Thursday, March 09, 2000 7:21 AM This is A Must Read Here's something the Socialistic Democrats and the cowardly Republican politicians, our so-called "journalists" and the White House tried to sweep under the rug: On Thursday, May 27, 1999, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript: "Since the dawn of creation there has been both good and evil in the heart of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers. The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart. In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent. I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy - it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today. "Your laws ignore our deepest needs Your words are empty air You've stripped away our heritage You've outlawed simple prayer Now gunshots fill our classrooms And precious children die You seek for answers everywhere And ask the question "Why" You regulate restrictive laws Through legislative creed And yet you fail to understand That God is what we need!" Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, soul, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual influences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in doing so, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs - politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. Political posturing and restrictive legislation are not the answers. The young people of our nation hold the key. There is a spiritual awakening taking place that will not be squelched! We do not need more religion. We do not need more gaudy television evangelists spewing out verbal religious garbage. We do not need more million dollar church buildings built while people with basic needs are being ignored. We do need a change of heart and a humble acknowledgment that this nation was founded on the principle of simple trust in God! As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes - He did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America, and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School - prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God - given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA - I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter's death will not be in vain. The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!" |
It seems like most people forgot what this country is all about.
If the founders of this country could see what is going on now they would roll over in their graves. Well guess what, they can see what is going on because they are in Heaven.
This country was started when God came to Godly men and told them that they should fight for their freedom, just like He used Moses to deliver His people from Egypt.
The founding fathers of this country sighted 27 Biblical violations by Great Britain and they wrote the Declaration Of Independence.
They called the Bible the corner stone of our country. Our country was founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ. They believed that if you were not a Christian you could not call yourself an America.
Since America became a country, we have been in countless wars and have not lost yet. Why you ask, because this country was based on the Bible and God shed His grace on us. But that is quickly comming to an end.
When this country won its freedom, they made songs about it to remind people about it, but we don't even sing these songs any more. Do you even remember what the songs are and what they say. Well let me remind you.
Why can our schools teach our children about homosexuals, but they cannot teach our children about God?

As you can see, the founding fathers knew that God had to be in our lives. They never intended that the Bible be taken out of the school. They knew that Jesus and the Bible played a vital role in keeping America free and safe. Why do you think that they put " In God We Trust" on all of our money.
So many people wonder today how this country got to be this bad and they try to figure out how to stop it. Well let me tell you.
It started with Satan, just like it always does. Satan started to get people to look at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to get them to think that it means some thing different than it really does. Well it worked, some one thought that the first amendment means that we need to separate Church and State. So they take the Bible and prayer out of school. Prayer is our only weapon against Satan and he hates us to pray so he will do any thing to get us to stop. Here is more info on separation of church and state.
1 Peter 5:8-9 " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. "
Joshua 1:8 " This book of the law shall not depart out of they mouth; but though shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Matthew 12:25 " And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: "
Mark 3:24 " And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. "
Our nation is faced with a crisis if social deterioration the likes of which we would have thought unimaginable a generation ago. We seem to be a culture gone berserk.
Romans 1:21:32 "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. When they separated Church and State they started legalizing all kinds of sins. This was not our founding fathers intentions. Our leaders try to resolve the problem, but they don't look to God for the answers. God is the only answer to fixing the problems in our country. They will not get any better, they will continue to get worse if we do not ask God to take care of it. God is getting ready to pass judgment on America and if we do not change our ways than America will be no more.
One of the greatest blasphemies this country commits is taking our tax dollars, that says "In God We Trust", and using them to support abortion clinics, gays, and countless other immoral acts.
You ask, well how did this happen when this country was founded on the Bible. Christians have just set back and let satan take our country. Satan has entered our homes and made us accept what is going on and got us to fight among ourselves. Christians spend more time judging other Christians, which the Bible tells us not to do, than they do praying and that's the way the devil wants it. He knows if we are not praying, he can defeat us. There is no greater power than prayer. Christians are no longer living by God's word, but by what the world does. The churches have tried almost every thing to get people to come to church. They try to remove the cross, the message about the blood, church steeple, they try to take the preaching out of the church, they try to change the hymnals and the Bible. They think numbers are what matters, they have lost what our duties to God are. They are afraid that people won't come to church if it is to churchy. They are afraid to make people feel uncomfortable about sinning.
Americans have become self-centered instead of God-centered.

Why do we need to be obedient to God?

What will happen if we just sit back and let satan take our country?

God is starting to pass judgment on us. Look at all the so called natural disasters we are having, they are supernatural. It is time for God's arming to wake up and not let the devil get by with this. It is our duty. Are you tired of the devil having his way in our country and our world? Do you want America back?
